January 4th I broadsided a telephone pole and my MINI valiantly saved me and my daughter from serious injury but sadly was deemed a total loss by my insurance.

Since both my daughter and me are without a scratch my attention has gone to saying goodbye to my beloved MINI. It has been harder than expected.

A new MINI was on my short list of cars I was shopping for at first, but realized I would be attempting to reach back into the past to replicate my car and decided that I needed some time before buying another one.

I found and bought a nice 2003 325i BMW sport package last night. So I didn't stray too far from MINI.

I'm sure I will check back in from time to time here at NAM, but wanted to say thanks and c-ya later. I'm off to bimmerfest...

Insurance Co took it over after evaluating it. Sorry.
Funny, the tow truck guy gave me a card and called me the next day wanting the car knowing it was totaled.
