2011 MCS in the shop, question about loaner car
I dropped my 2011 MCS of on Friday to the St. Andrews flag installed. While this was being done the dealer put me in a 2011 MCS off the lot for the weekend. I have noticed a few things that are strange compared to mine:
1 - The clutch seems easier to engage/disengage, it takes less effort to push the peddle in and over all feels easier to get a smooth start. The loaners peddle also creaks when it moves.
2 - The engine is less noisy when starting it in the morning. Mine has a clattering sound to it.
3 - The loaner feels like it has more get up and go. Im thinking this is since mine is equipped with 17s and RF and the loaner is 16s and non-RFs. More rotational mass.
Im not sure if I should be worried about these things or not. Any input?

I wouldn't be worried per-say. The start-up maybe something to keep an eye on and keep listening to see if the noise gets louder or changes. If the loaner is an S it should have RF tires but the difference between 16s and 17s might be just enough to notice the weight.
In my case, on a cold start the engine will rev somewhere betweek 1-1.5K for a minute then will start idling around 700-800 rpm. During that minute above 1K, there is a rattle, a "tinny" rattle like coins in a can or something.
My 2011 has done this since I the day I bought it, it is probably my biggest complaint. It only happens on cold start and usually for less than a minute and while minor it does have me worried.
Not sure if this is the clattering sound you are hearing from your 2011.
Yep my 2008 GIT hated large temp changes. Its been in the mid 60s during the day and in the 30s at night.
