Cell Phone

Hi all,
I have a 2010 Clubman and currently a RAZOR cell-phone....anyone know if the SAMSUNG Sunburst or the SAMSUNG Flight work well with the MINI bluetooth package? Any advice guidance on what works well would be appreciated. I'm currently with AT&T and don't intend to switch carriers but I do want to upgrade my phone.

Philip

There's not any Samsung phones on the official list. They tend to test only Blackberry/iPhone/Sony Ericsson phones. The only other way for anyone to find out if they work is for someone to try and report back. As far as I know, nobody's posted info on the SGH-797 (Flight) or the SGH-a697 (Sunburst).

EDIT: For what it's worth, Samsung phones are hit-or-miss with MINIs. Blackberrys, iPhones, and most phones running Android or Windows Mobile 6.1 tend to work.

I really like the bluetoooth feature. This is the first time I have had it in an automobile, just another reason I am liking my new Mini. the glory of it is even when I am on the long haul, my t-mobile device is a Garminfone so I get teh glory of the GPS with the total hands free communication. BTW, I love the Garminfone, great little droid

Hey proj4ever, I don't think we have the Garmin phone in the compatibility list. Does it work well for you? I'll get it added so that others can tell that it works if they're cell shopping.

The Garminfone works really well. All my contacts downloaded to the unit perfectly, although I have not gone through the voice activation part of it yet (plan on doing that this weekend). When I am in the car it sounds like the person on the other end is sitting next to me. Great system
