question about battery replacement

I happen to have the 6 year or 100,000 extended maintenance warranty. Does this cover any battery replacement at the dealer?

I would seriously doubt it. Check the policy. Wear items like batteries, clutches, and brakes are usually not covered under warranty. Not from any manufacturer. Unless there was an obvious problem that occured way too early.

I'd say no. Battery is not maintenance.
That said, I'm on my original battery in my Oct'03 build MCS.
