Retrofit factory Cruise control 05 MCS?

As title states, my 05 MCS never came with cruise.

Is it as simple as replacing the steering wheel, clock spring and having module re-coded?

If anyone could point me to a thread where this has been attempted that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Good info, don't most Mini dealers act like coding options to a BCM is next to impossible though? Or is there some "retrofit" coding they can find / do?

In the UK they do retrofit coding, no probs.
My local dealer only charged me for 15 minutes labour when he coded my MFSW retrofit.

It's not bad to do, take some time to install. We have a complete retrofit kit to do it, then you just need a dealer or someone with a dealer computer to activate it. Let me know if you need the kit.

Searching your site yielded nothing. Could you link to this kit, or give some info on it?

Like alot of parts we don't have them on the site. The kit contains the switches, wiring, and slip ring. If you need to know more feel free to call us.
