Black Jack OEM Sunroof Graphic question

If anyone has it or has seen it in real life, is the "grey" portion in the black jack sunroof graphic a flat grey color or is it a metallic? I've seen different pics but the source of the graphic wasn't identified so wasn't sure if it was OEM or aftermarket.
Does anyone know if the MINI installed sunroof graphic is perforated or solid vinyl?
I'm trying to finalize my order for my '11 MCS and want to get some graphics done right away this time. I did a bunch on my other MINI, but over time, which was fun, but this time I'd rather have that part done when I pick him/her up.

Someday I hope to be able to afford to add the BJ sunroof graphic. Meanwhile, I have the side and rearview mirrors sitting in a box waiting to be installed once the weather improves.

Here is a picture of one on the Countryman. Sorry about the dark and flash. I do believe it is sort of metallic, but can't tell for sure. Please look in gallery for the picture. For some reason it didn't attach here.

Thanks Miniblue2, looks great. Is the grey portion metallic? I can't tell from the pic.
Nice Countryman, my husband is currently waiting for his Cosmic Blue Countryman to arrive!

I can't really tell. It does sort of look metallic. One thing though - I can't see the roof of the countryman nearly as well as the MCS I traded. The graphic looks good when you have a prospective that you can actually see it. Otherwise I'm not sure why I got it. People at work comment on the side mirror Black Jacks and I have to point out the roof. It's always wow, but they did not notice it on their own.

I guess that extra 6" of height puts it out of view for a certain portion of the population. My husband is currently researching graphics for his CM, but I think he's going to put something along the side.

It is rainy today, but here it is. I do not see any metallic in the grey. I do not have a macro lens for extreme close ups.

Thanks! That is very sharp. Makes me more impatient for my husband's CM to get here, not to mention my new MCS!

I still think it is metallic. The grey has sparkles in it see the attached picture

I have the blackjack sunroof graphic and haven't been very impressed with the quality. I love the look of it and really want to go with a blackjack theme on my MINI. After about 6 months, though, the graphic started to peel and big chunks have ripped off and it looks terrible. I'm about ready to peel the rest of it off. I don't know if maybe it was just poorly applied by the dealer. I really liked it, but I've been very disappointed.

anuppercasej, if your graphic was part of your original purchase than it should be warrantied in some manner. I'd take it in and get it looked at before much more time goes by.
I decided to go with aftermarket graphics, I wanted a slightly different color set than was on the OEMs.
Just got my MCS last week, so no graphics yet.

I actually had it installed a couple months after I got my MINI. I emailed the SA that I had when I got it installed he said he'll try and help me out, so we'll see what happens.
