R60 Considering a late March purchase
Considering a late March purchase
I'm considering a Countryman for late March purchase. Many of the in stock vehicles I see are loaded with accessories that make this vehicle pricey to say the least. I have a Cooper Hardtop and will give this vehicle to my wife. I'm wondering if anyone has taken delivery of CM S manual without all wheel drive. IF so what are you're driving impressions. Also has anyone driven a non S Countryman, what kind of performance did you experience.
I love the concept but the pricing puts me off a bit....any comments are welcomed! I haven't driven one yet but will soon...any thoughts on how the CM compares to the Hardtop handling would be appreciated.

I'm still in the break in period so I haven't pushed the CM All4 too hard. My overall impression is that it is not as go cart as my 2007 S. A lot more room, not as much difference between sport and non-sport. For me, it was a good decision and I expect the fun to really start when I hit 1,200 miles. Only 900 more to go.

I have (had :() an '06 MCS. We just ordered a FWD CM S. We test drove the All4 and the FWD and liked the FWD much more for our needs. It is not quite the go-kart feel of the MCS, but it was still a blast to drive. Everything we test drove was a manual, and my husband loves the way the clutch on the CM feels, especially compared to my '06 MCS.
We don't take deliver until mid-March so that is the extent of our experience thus far.
