Auto Sport Mode Module Questions...

I have called the vendor and posted on a thread about this item and nobody is responding. In fact I'm a little concerned that the vendor has not returned my inquiry to them by either email or phone. So my question is if anyone has installed this item and if it requires any cutting? Is it easy to install? That's all I want to know. Thanks.

You didn't indicate which one you ordered or which vendor, so hard to say what their solution might require. The one I installed did require one wire to be cut in order splice the controller into it. Getting access to the wires was a little challenging. But overall it was a pretty easy install. Mine was the DIY version, so I would imagine the vendors selling the modules have come up with even easier installs.

Sorry. I was looking at the one from Way Motor Works. Their item looks pretty easy. I just want to know exactly what has to be done before I buy it so I know if I want to do it. I like to have everything in my head how it's going to work way before I do anything.

Way Motor Works sells the one from FES Auto. Here's the installation and user guide:

Thanks I found that tonight as well. It looks like a nice little item. I think I'm going to purchase it. Has anyone else used it?

The first thing I installed about a week after I got the car in Nov 09. Just make sure that you attach the power lead to the right fuse. I had to use a different one than what was listed in the instructions. Seems '10 models are a bit different. I don't recall which I fuse I used.
