Which magnetic badge holder on S Grille?

Yeah, yeah, just trying to fritter away the days online window shopping.

I see there are two options made, and since I've never owned one, I'm not sure which might fit.

My recommendation is the first one. While I don't have a Countryman, I do have one of these badge holders on my Clubman. The as-yet unanswered question is how long the screws need to be. I installed the badge holder at the same time I upgraded to a JCW grill, and the screws included with the badge holder (3/4") were too long for the JCW grill. I found that they're standard #10 screws, and so it was simple to use a couple of 1/2" screws from my parts bin.

I got the one from gobadges.com. I liked the look of the chrome ring. And it's easy to install since it uses a velco strap to attach it to the grill.

I just bought one at https://www.gobadges.com/. I was referred to them because they made the badge for my local Mini car club. I am VERY pleased at the quality of the product, the fact that you can easily and securely swap badges quickly. Check em out, fast shipping too!

The one they made for the car club is very nice raised, and thick.. Makes the graphic pop.... The badges themselves are magnetized to the base, then you actually screw the bezel over the badge to hold it in. I also got a 3D badge, super cool.. I will put up some pictures when I get them on my computer...

I too recently received a GoBadge order FAST shipping.

Don't know if anyone else noticed, but the red used in the Union Jack and Roundel is VERY Countryman Pure Red (nearly orange)...interesting. LOVE the options and will be ordering more.

I'm happy with my GoBadges. Although I find the Velcro attachment a little finicky, it's working well.

Your question reminds me of a line in the Mel Brooks classic "Blazing Saddles"
