I recently purchased from Ebay, a set of BBS R90 split rims,without tires. All are stamped on the back with the proper MINI/Germany markings so I know they are the real deal. After winning the auction and with shipping I paid $525 for the set of 4 with some minor minor rash on 2 of them. Just wondering if I got a good/great/fair/ or overpaid on the deal. I can't wait to get a tire package and get them on my 05 this spring.

 

That's a fair price.
Shipping costs is what spoils the issue.

I agree. Sounds like you got an ok price on the wheels, but also had to give away more for shipping. The wheels alone are worth less than 525, by probably just a little, even though they are one of the more desireable designs.
