hahah I saw this the other day! I say, good for him! Although that is extremelyy frustrating to other drivers looking for a space, this guy was probably just trying to avoid some idiot parking right on top of him and denting/dinging/chipping the doors when getting out of their over sized, planet polluting, crookedly parked SUV.

 

How I feel about seeing a space splitter depends on the context. If it's far from available prime parking spaces, I don't cringe. That may be the case here. Needs motorcycles parked on each side.

Is that a Virginia Tech sticker (VT) on the left side of the bumper?

No, it's not my MINI. I don't split spaces, even when parking far out.

 

Jees I feel like parking like that at the local big box shops.

 

Damn! That's a Virginia plate on that MINI! At least they don't have a www.hrmini.com sticker! Thank God!

Does look like a VT sticker. Probably a UVA grad trying to look cool with a MINI and VT sticker, but their parking ability gives them away!

 

im hoping its like one commenter said, and perhaps the ground was snow covered when it was parked and lines weren't around
