R50/53 Installing driver's side axle... is this all the way in? See pix

Installing driver's side axle... is this all the way in? See pix

Is this all the way in or do I need to push this further in?

Looks like it is all the way in to me. When you are pushing on the axle it will only go so far then stop. Also when the axle is in all the way you may not be able to pull it back out with out using a pry bar or something.

I wasn't sure if it's suppose to be flush. I should have taken a picture of the old one before I pulled it out. I took the circlip out to test fit my new axle and it stops around the same distance.

If someone happens to be under the car, check for me
