picture below. I noticed this on 2 parts of my car, it isn't as smooth as the rest of the paint and looks a little faded....what is this..clear coat? the car is usually parked in a garage so I don't know what it could be. its right to the left of the gap between the door and the rest of the paneling.
hope it doesn't worsen....I get too OCD over this car

It looks like wax that didn't get buffed. Weird, I've never seen that before. Sorry I'm no help.

I can't really tell from the picture too well, but it looks like orange peel.

Maybe you need a thorough detail? Can't say for sure.

Hard to say but it looks like paint overspray to me...that is if you're talking about those little specs. Some a$$hat painted their house with one of those airless sprayers and the wind carried it over and planted it on my Mom's car one time. It looked just like that. She took it to a good detail shop and they got it all off. Hopefully that's all you're looking at. Good luck...

Is it surficial or a deeper whitening? Hard to tell from the photo. The trim at the bottom of the window usually leaks out water in that area after after washing, so maybe it is dried water staining?
