for outside temp display or for the ac controls?

i think the outside temp display has to be set by the dealer from what i have been reading. the auto a/c on my 2006 can be changed by "pressing the buttons for the cooling function and air distribution toward the footwell at the same time"

Sure, just multiply by 1.8 and add 32

Lol. Personally I'm too lazy plus I hate math so I just multiply by 2 and add 32.

Celsius to Farenheit

thanks to those who replied with the formula to change celsius to Farenheit, thanks. But I actually meant on the car's temp read out. Mine switched itself suddenly and the nearest dealer is about an hour and a half from here.

Press and hold the auto button for about 5-10 seconds.

edit: beat me too it. I spent too much time carefully writing a response.

In the early cars, you push and hold the "auto" button on the a/c. That changes the outside temp display as well as the a/c's display. If you don't have auto a/c, then I have no idea.

The default is supposed to be Fahrenheit. I have mine set to Celsius but if the battery is disconnected, or loose, it resets to ºF.

Changing readout from Celsius to Farenheit

Thank you both. I thought it had to be something in the car since it mysteriously changed while someone else was driving it. Had not been to the dealer. So it had to be a control in the car itself.

Really appreciate the responses from everyone.
