My brother-in-law killed his best friend doing that exact same thing 5 years ago.

Sledding is hazadous enough without adding 172 horses pulling it....

Oh what a morning! Not only is there a metric sh*t tonne of snow out there, I can never get the plow hitch on the Mini the night before. What a procrastinator.

Oh well, off to argue with wheel chains and irritating dowels, clips, and hydraulics.

Hopefully the pre-frammulated sheer pin won't go this storm, as when it let go last year the car imitated a meth-fueled pole vaulter, and it took pretty much the whole neighborhood to lower it out of the tree that ended its flight.

Ah the life of a Mini plow driver! At least they've quit with those irritating GPS systems that rat you out when you sleep between passes with the 2-way squelched.

Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh.

Figures I bought my car on Thursday . At least it is tucked away in the parking garage before the snow started. I'm thinking of calling out of work until May ... ish.

Yep, you could ship it down to about Orlando, and then drive to Key West from there...

I love how well the Mini handles in the snow w/ a good set of snow tires (Blizzaks in my case)

Wow, looks like when it snows in the mountains here. Measure it in feet. I would have the snowmobile out ripping up the streets. I bet snow tires are selling off the hook at the tire rack. I bet by now Blizztacs are hard to find.

We did something similar in college with my 78 Monte Carlo.... popped the trunk and just held on to the back of the trunk while "skiiing" in our tennis shoes. when we were done the trunk wouldn't close because the latch was no longer aligned! A few kicks and she was good as new!

Be careful out there!
