Hey Guys,

I'm coming to Arizona from Alabama for the BCS National Championship game to cheer on Auburn. I thought I might check with my peer MINI people for some ideas on anything that we should be sure to checkout while we are there. We are going to go to the Grand Canyon one day and not sure the best way to see it. We read about Helicopter rides but they are expensive. Worth it or is there a better way?

Helicopter Ride is definitely a great way to see the canyon, but yeah, definitely spendy. I'd also be a little concerned about weather there this time of year, even though this is Arizona, it does snow up there in the Winter, so not sure what kind of forecast you'll be lucky for come that second week in January of the BCS game!

Of course the really best way to see it is to hike it, but depends on how active you are and really the time you have to put into the trip.

Always looking to welcome some fellow Mini owners when they are in town though!

 

Thanks for the advice Dan. Its about to start snowing here in Alabama tomorrow (really strange weather) so I am glad to be heading out to Phoenix this weekend.
