HI, I am new to this site. I am trying to remove my mini rack mount and am having difficulty. How did you remove yours? I understand it up to the point of getting the metal pieces out of the body mount openings.

thanks, Rockin

You need to make sure the blades are completely closed, then slowley with a little pressure rock it back and forth, they will free up

Thanks - and how to close Blades?

Really appreciate your response. Did you use a set of plyers to close the blades completely? they seem rather stubborn. The tools that came with the kit are not useful that I can tell for this operation.

thanks again,

Rockin

Just for other readers, I can use the box but not the rest, if someone else is interested in them.

I live in Richmond and am interested in the base rack and/or bike rack attachments!

Ah, it's not meant to be. The MINI OEM box carries 12 cu. ft. The one I have and wanted to replace is 16 cu. ft. Yea, we need that extra capacity. I'm sorry.
