can someone please tell me the # for a fram oil filter on a 2007 R56 have been sold two both wrong thank much

 

Don't know the part # for the fram, but if you go to realoem.com you can find out the part number for the oem filter which is the one you should be using in the first place. good luck

 

IMO go OEM and not aftermarket - I've personally seen several aftermarket filters collapse.

 

Fram is crap...(they basicly stopped most of their product devolpment research many years ago, and spent their $$ on advertising).
Go to napa if not the dealer, and get an Mahle(oem supplier), Mann (an oem supplier) or the napa platinum (made by WIX I think,,,nonopinion, but respected here generaly).
The big box price point filters have a very bad history in the mini of not fitting, failing, leaking, and colasping....
If you need to, order the filter online...about $6-8 if you shop around!!

 

I wouldn't put a Fram filter on a '73 Ford Pinto! Get your OEM filters from either Classic or Morristown MINI.

I just buy mine from the dealer. I work at a shop and every time we try and get an aftermarket one from any local parts store it's always wrong. yes more money but less headache!

Classic MINI in Ohio also has a nice NAM discount.

By all means use a oem filter. I have yet to see a desent after market oil filter for a MINI.
