Squeak Banished!
After my MCS spent 9 weeks in the body shop/repair shop (thanks to a woman who turned left in front of me in June!), I was afraid the car would never be the same.
Thankfully, the car not only looks perfect, it drives perfectly, too. But, I had a nagging squeak coming from the rear area (somewhere?) that I couldn't track down. It was bugging me bigtime.
Last night I figured out it had to be coming from the hatch. By carefully rotating the rubber bumpers IN then OUT, I was able to precisely adjust the hatch and completely eliminate the squeak.
Other than the diminished value of having been smacked, my MINI is a happy guy.
