There is a small sensor looking object in the middle of the dash under the windshield. I heard that the windshield sensor for rain sensing wipers is located near the top of the windshield, and this one is right behind where the big hole is in the center of the dash that blows air. looks small and red. i have seen pictures of minis without this thing which leads me to believe that this is some added option....thanks!

 

I've heard that it's a UV sensor used by the Auto A/C.
