Hi! I'm new here and I've been waiting ever so patiently for my MINI. My estimated production date is January 5th. Knauz told me 10 weeks total, so I'm hoping for a February delivery date. I can't wait! I get so jealous when I see all the MINIs on my way to work. I see them everywhere on my way to work and back home ... Skokie, Park Ridge, Rosemont, etc.

The waiting after the car has been built is the toughest.. Remember that Knauz will take a few days to prep the car, depending on how busy they are. It is important not to rush things at the end. It will be well worth the wait.

I was by that corner several times today (I live right by there) by motorcycle and Suburu, but not by MINI.. I was out a bunch in the MINI yesterday though (12/27).

Glad to hear there will be another Skokie MINI person around soon.

That makes like 4 of us in Skokie!! IB/W, EB/W, CR/W and now you! I'm up and down Oakton most of the time.

 

I'm much closer to becoming an official owner! My MINI's bday is January 5th!!! It leaves 1/13 and arrives in NY on 1/21!!!!! I can't wait!!!!

Not really from Chicago, and probably the farthest member from Chicago. Morris is about 60 miles away.

I've got you beat... I'm about 65 miles. I'm in Wonder Lake (Just north of Crystal Lake in the Northwest Suburbs.)

But I'm still from 'Chicago' if people ask.

 

The Chicago club currently has members in Wisconsin and Indiana, and as far south as Springfield, Il.

The current long distance award goes to a couple of members living in Italy!
