So, we were checking out various movies (again) featuring Minis and MINIs yesterday...all outrunning police cars. The timing and logic behind this post is excellent!

 

I guess those would be "MINI Coppers" then...

Did you notice the JCW front and rear seats on the german cars. The expensive Recaro ones. And to think, my Dept. gave us all paycuts last year....???

It looks like that Turkish Mini has lead a hard life in Public Service. The rear bumper is peeled back and it looks like the RR window is busted.

 

 

Funny thing is: Perhaps people wouldn't take MINI cop cars seriously, but an upside for cops is the sleeper element. How many people would think they could outrun a sleeper JCW police car and get a helping of public service motoring to the boot?

There have been a few more in use over the years as D.A.R.E cars a few of which I know have had leases end or have been retired.

Thanks for your valuable comments, this incident just happened three days ago and I would appreciate if you could try some empathy about it. For example if I told you 'oh this trade center at new york was used very hard so it fell down' would you laugh abt it? Ok this is not the place to discuss stuff like this, any way this is my third Mini and I love people who drive Mini so I accept them as my brothers, I would be most glad to share information with you regarding Mini except not listening to eachother, it is most possible tht I may have understood a cooment wrong but this does not give anyone to call me idiot. Peace

 

Fair enough but you kinda came out of nowhere preaching to us. We were talking about the MINI not the incident that occurred. I most definetley have empathy for the 32 injured police officers (look at my screen name). Glad the only death was the terrorist. Anyway, just word your posts differently and try to inform instead of accuse.... Just my 2 cents....
