Weird light not in manual

Hi everyone,

I was driving my little Zabimaru down the interstate and this light came on (not the seatbelt sign. I've seen that one a time or two). I can't find it in the manual (I literally READ the manual, again, cover to cover), and I need to know what it means. My "oil change" miles are down to about 3500 (but they recommend that I change the oil every 15k. I don't think so). My guesses are as follows: I need to check my brakes; I need to check my belts; my antifreeze is too low; My car is part of the Dharma Initiative. Anyway, can someone please tell me what this means, and what I need to do to get it taken care of?

Thanks in advance.

Is that the brake pad wear indicator? I don't have my manual with me at the moment but the icon looks like a brake symbol.

brake wear sensor indeed. mine just went off and my back pads are toasted.

if you need further proof, here's the icon that is displayed in VW/Audi if brakes sensors are tripped.

to fix this, you'll need to figure out which pads are low, either front or rear. you have a sensor on the front left, and the rear right. So, once you figure out which pads are low (you'll have to do some peeking through the wheel to see) and replace those pads, as well as purchase a new sensor, since the sensor you have has been used.

FYI, you can probably drive another 1000 miles on stock pads after the sensor trips. I did and when I replaced the pads they still had some life left.

Put your seatbelt on, too.
