R56 Long-term Update: JCW + aftermarket tune
Long-term Update: JCW + aftermarket tune
I've searched the forums for any threads on this topic. I've found a few threads discussing various vendors as well as peoples impression of their tunes. I'm primarily interested in tuned JCWs but I'll welcome feedback from non JCW R56s also.
So let's here it.
What tune?
How long (months, years, miles)?
Any untoward effects?
Thanks

What tune? RMW
How long? 6 months 5,000 miles
Any ill effects? Nope. None. Well, just some decreased gas mileage while driving in town.
Positive effects? Just a big old grin on my face. This is the best and easiest mod for the money. Period.
(R56 MCS)
What tune? RMW
How long (months, years, miles)? about 3 months, 3000 mi
Any untoward effects? None. Like Onefish said, this is hands down the best bang for your buck mod.
I wish I had a JCW, I can't even imagine driving with all that torque.
