Hey.. The wife and I just got back from a week long Motorocycle trip through Skyline & blue Ridge (We only made it to Mt Pisgah Inn NC). We are planning on taking the Mini in the spring and was wondering if anyone else wait to take the journey, also when is the best time ?

 

foliage for sure... probably in a week or so when the leaf colors are in the full spectrum of fall colors.

 

fwiw, Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club usually does the entire BRP in June of each year. This past year we were hovering around 45 MINIs (and a couple Minis) most of the way. Some folks did the Skyline on the front end on their way to the rally point. A couple years ago I did the Skyline after BRP as part of The Great Ice Cream Run 2.
