First Modification...

I decided that the stock antenna was too long so I went out and bought the MINI direct replacement stubby...

PS. how do I shrink images hosted by Photbucket?

The easiest way is to shrink them in Photobucket. You can either do it for each photo individually or change the setting for how the pictures are uploaded.

Give him a break. It's his first mod, and probably the first of many.

And how many of us got a stubby antenna as our first mod, raise your hand...

:hand up:

Dang! Way to make someone feel good and welcome. Sounds like there was a soup kitchen serving up big bowls of snarky soup. I give a big to the stubby...IMHO it makes the MINI look a little less RC Racer.

Okay, this is my first mod of several more thoughtful ones to come.

To those that recognized that, thank-you. To the others, go have a second helping of "snarky soup".

Dave, sell you a barely used stock one??!!??

TRDL, the laser-etcher at work is 2 weeks backlogged so no marking for me (since I am the support engineer I do have my ways to sneak in but this would be a bad time).

Anyhow... all good, much love, later!

Some of the smaller Toronto stations get fuzzy at times but overall, no.

Hey Great car...I love the Laurel edition!

Don't worry about the nay-sayers. I haven't even gotten to the point of beginning the mod journey so you're already ahead of me. I like the stubby antenna, but always worry about reception issues.

What area of toronto are you in?

I don't understand all these people who want stubby antennae.
I've been looking for a red/orange go-kart flag to stick on the end of my stock antenna.

I think the stock antennae is too short! I want one that is long enough that I can bend it and attach the end to the front bumper!
