I have a few soft dings on my trunk. Anyone know a good west-la shop that can take care of them?

If you don't get any leads try contacting your local chapter of BMW Car club of America-usually they will know who is good in your area. Good luck.

Try the paintless dent repair guy in your area. I've had 2 dents fixed on the hood so far using that method and have had great luck.

When I asked about dent repair at my dealership, they said the boot was hard to repair because it was double-steel or something. Now that I know they're full of poo as usual, I'll hunt down my local dent repair guy.

Sambusik,

Did you ever find a local "paintless dent repair" shop? If so, did they do a good job and who were they? I have a small dent on the top of my right side fender.

Thanks,
Joel

Damn Ding!!!!

I went to a friends birthday party (for their 2 year old) yesterday and after an hour of fun, the host asked me to move my car. I did, and decided to back it into the spot. When I opened the door, I didn't see this post that was about a foot away. Well, I did see it, but I didn't see the eye rings that were sticking out 6 inches from it. Opened my door, and bam, it slammed back on me. ugh oh, I moved my car 6inches forward, got out and saw the ping ball sized dent from that. If I had parked the same way as I did earlier, I would have gotten out on the other side of parking area, and wouldn't have hit that post. Ugh, I was sooooooo mad at myself.

So, anyone found a decent $75 or less Paintless Dent Repair shop here in LA???

I live in the Pasadena,Ca area and also have the best Paintless Dent Repair guy that you could ever ask for. this guy is a true pro at his craft and very, very reasonably priced.
So when you get that door ding or whatever don't get too bummed, because this guy will fix it perfectly for a great price. I am a bit of a perfectionist and would NOT be taking the time to post this information if I did not believe in this guy 100%.

contact Info: Anthony Helton, Dent Wizard-Master Technician 310-987-8105. Tell him the guy with the RED JCW sent you.

thumbs up for contacting Anthony Helton from Dent Wizard. I took my other car (not the MINI) to him for a dent repair on the wheelwell this morning and he was able to take out all of the damage from it. I'm very satisfied with his work. He works over at Toyota of Pasadena a couple of days during the week.

Excellent, I'm glad that my message is helping those that need this service. It can be really hard to find the right person for this type of work. Spread the word, Anthony is a real pro.
