Hey yall thinking about changing my stripes and was seeing if I could get some opinions. This is my mini

WIth black stripes

As you can see it has white stripes,checker top, and white mirrors. I was thinking of going with black stripes with a white outline on both the boot and bonnet. The reason is the white stripes are starting to bubble and peal on the corners and it makes the car look ratty if you really look at it. So let's get some ideas on stripes for her.

 

I like your idea with getting black stripes with the white outline. I think it would look really good on your MINI. I don't think I would continue the stripes on the boot, it would probably look weird...I mean it would be to busy looking, if you know what I mean. Since you have the checkered roof going on too.

My 2¢...go for it...and if you don't like it they come off easy enough. Post some after pics and we'll toss in a few more coin.

 

I like subtle so if I had to go with stripes Id go for the black ones.

If you want to do them on both the boot and bonnet, i'd prefer the straight sport stripes.

But yes, i do like the black ones!

 

Hi , love the stripe ideas , where is a good place to buy the "sport stripes" , I have the black stripes with white edges but want to change them for the solid black stripes that run straight down the bonnet .

 

I like the look of the stripes on this countryman. i think for yours, a fat black stripe and the thin stripe in white.

I can make these if you are interested.

 

I like the black better than the white.

 

If I had my graphics/vinyl program on this computer I'd show you but I'd say do black stripes with small checkers along the edge...two rows on each side, with checkers about a quarter inch or so (.25" squares). I think it would tie in nicely.
