2006 R53 is HOME!
I'm happy to report that I brought my R53 home today! She's BRG/W, 6spd, Sport, Premium, web spokes and more fun on the road than even I imagined.
I had a 45 mi. drive home from the dealer, but wish it was 100.
In the city the SC whine is freakin' great, the burble got two thumbs-up from my friend who took me to the dealer, and the handling is spot-on. My trip home was mostly interstate, and man, this car begs to be driven. She wants to run, just like a thoroughbred. I found a three-car group doing 90 for a stretch, and the MCS felt rock-solid, and made it feel effortless.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news at last! Time to grab some lunch & hit the road!
