Is this a MINI part?
I got the car from Mom. Found this in the glovebox. She thinks it is for something in/on the car. Does anyone have an idea of what it might be?

It's about the size of a soda bottle cap, but the threads are finer.

That's the lava cap. If that's off, your car is screwed.

It almost looks like the Scripto brand S. Weird none the less less. Sorry can't be of more help, but it doesn't look like anything off a MINI.

It is a "Watcha Ma call it" off of a "Thing a ma jig"
It is not a Mini part but probably aftermarket for the "Doo Hickey" to replace the stock factory "Doo Hickey" on a Mini Cooper.
I would just keep it in case I ever needed it --or-- I would sell it on E-Bay for a lot of $$$$$$.
