I want to use a Garmin GPS as well as a Radar Detector at the same time. The standard duplex Power Outlet adapter is too long not leaving enough room for the device plugs. Has anyone found an adapter that will accomodate to device plugs? The car is a 2006 Cabrio Sport.

 

You could always hardwire the radar detector (and/or the GPS) but if you aren't looking for permanent it appears that either of these ones should fit:

Note: I have not used either of the above devices, nor am I endorsing them in any way. However, it appears that they will fit into the limited space offered around the MINI's cigarette lighter (especially the one with the "cords" between the plug and socket).

 

Thank you for that information. I bought the dual adapter rather than the swivel one and it works just fine. I plan to velcro each plug to the two vertical posts on the console.
