One side rear tire sticks out farther

I recently put 12mm spacers on my stock base mini. I occasionally get some rubbing and noticed it was always on the drivers side.
When checking it out it seems the driver's rear tire sicks out more then the passenger side (maybe 1/4 inch). Is there an adjustment for that?

A 1/4" is a lot of difference from side to side.
Has the car ever been in an accidient?
Does it appear that the camber is different side to side so that the top of the tire is leaning in more on the passenger side?
Maybe the spring has sagged more on the driver side if your car is older.
Depending on the year of your car (2005 and up) the camber is adjustable using the lower control arm. However, to be able to adjust (pull the tire in) you would need to purchase adjustable upper and lower control arms so that both the top and bottom of the wheel can be pulled in.
A good four wheel alignment will be needed to make sure everything stays true and straight.

I would check the strut towers for mushrooming....a little bend at the top might throw the rest out of wack....has the car had an alignment recently?

I bought the car used (2005)... car fax shows one owner - no accidents, but don't know how reliable that is.

It's the rear tire that rubs so I doubt it's a mushrooming issue from what I've read. I'll take it to an alignment shop to check it out.

Mushrooming is an issue in the front....Call/PM Way at Waymortorworks....I remember a similar thread...knew the issue in a second, and the part you needed!! Keeps them in stock, and good prices too for most everything!!
