Spacers needed with S-Lite wheels...
I've noticed alot of people have the S-Lite wheels on their MCS's. My question is, are they using spacers with these wheels? No one mentions they are, but the wheels appear to be pushed out a good bit further the the stock 16x6.5 bridge spoke wheels. I just bought a set of S-Lites and plan to wrap them with 225/45/17's to fill in the gap and widen the stance. Do I need spacers or do they fill out on their own? Will the tire size I mention pose problems on stock suspension? Sorry for all the questions, I'm the new guy And don't want to make a mistake. Thanks!
should be fine even with that tire size if not lowered.
those tires will be a good bit larger though, which is fine.... will actually make the speedo more accurate lol. its off a bit stock
i didnt know bridges were 6.5 wide. the S's are 7, so thatll make them look a little bit further out as they are still the same offset (48)

You can always measure it. Stick a piece of tape with the right length on the inside of your tires and play around with the steering. 225mm is 8.86 inches which means it will stick out an additional 1.86 inches. Divide that by two, you have just under an inch additional to each side (0.93inc or 23.6mm)
I had 18x8 with 225 on "sport" suspension and they didnt rub. Had to get 5mm spacers for the front after the drop but can still get away without them depending on height. 225 on stock wheels should be lighter than your runflats with s-lites. I measured my S-lites for a NAM sale and with runflats (not including tpms) it weighed an astonishing 45 lbs.
Also, if you want a wider stance... spacers will definitely do the trick. But until then, you should be fine

those are not s-lites
they are crown spokes. They will work.
