Is there an easy way to test the microswitch that the shelf sits on to see if that is what's keeping my top from going down all the way? My top goes back to sunroof stage and then nada. Motor works fine, no strange noises, no lopsided action to indicate cassette or cable. The red light, however, does NOT come on when the top is engaged. It DOES come on when I leave the sunroof open, though. Is there something/someplace else I should be looking?

I'm looking to sell Tater and need to fix the top first!

I'm also wondering if my top issue could be related to the fact that my back windows are really, really sluggish sometimes when going up and down? Thoughts?

 

hello, Im having the EXACT same problem right now .... the top seemed to worked fine, no strange noises etc, but the top doesnt come down, and i checked the rear switch etc... have you fixed yours already ?? , I think mine could have the same thing....
