orderd the spoiler and the sealant kit. only problem is the sealant goes into some kinda special 2 part gun that mini makes that cost 115 bucks. my question is, Is there any one in AZ that has a gun they could let me borrow and or help me install as well seeing as it is a 2 person job OR do you know any shop that can do it? both mini place here in AZ quoted me over 350 JUST FOR INSTALL which is crazy i think consiering the documentation from mini says 1.25 hours theres no way in heck they charge 280 an hour its like 130 so what the crap? REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT THIS ON BEFORE THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND im going on a road trip! and i wana show er off

 

Can you just depress the plunger on it (both sides) to make it work? Sounds like a 2 part epoxy. Check your local auto stores, hardware stores or check your mechanic.

I'm sure someone has a gun that will fit it. Good luck!

If all else fails, use some really good sealer that isn't from Mini. There are plenty on the market that should work just fine.

 

if you really want to finish this asap just drop by at Arizona auto repair shops near your area coz there are lots of experts that do the spoiler install.

 

I have the special tool for the epoxy and would be glad to lend it to you if you pay shipping both ways.
