Drivetrain Quote from EVO November Issue
Forgive my ignorance, but I am not sure I understand the following quote from the November issue of EVO magazine: "The supercharger is a masterpiece of packaging, but the heat it generates is added to by the air blown through the intercooler above it. Not ideal." Is this simply a comment on the intercooler placement, and a situation without a true remedy?

at least the intercooler is somewhat in front of the motor instead of
behind the motor like on my WRX. big difference in temperature.
these tmic's function just fine as long as there is moving air though.

Waitaminuite, the advertising about the mini-madness intercooler says that this is exactly what we would want
"There simply isn't enough clean flowing space underneath the intercooler to provide proper airflow to remove heat and cool the intercooler. A good execution of this type of design is once again the Subaru WRX or STI where the intercooler is top mount but the difference it where it's placed, to the rear of the engine where there is plenty of space for incoming air to flow through the intercooler and escape through the empty space below."
So, is there a trade off here with regards to placement between airflow and heat?
