Letter from BMW about turbocharger

Received a letter stating the on some 2007,2008, and 2009 Mini S's may have the turbocharger stop working and the Mini lose power and get a service light on the dash
Anyone have this occur and anyone received the letter/

Can you pdf your letter from bmw. Why would you get that letter? Was it service related?

Did they suggest any possible solution?

I received the letter too (can't seem to find it at the moment). It states Mini is aware of a potential problem that could affect the durability of the high pressure fuel pump. They have extended the warranty on the fuel pump to 10 years or 120,000 miles.

Doesn't say there's a problem with the turbo... You read what you wanted to see...
