Can anyone tell me if the paddle shifters from a 2 spoke steering wheel will fit on the 3 spoke wheel? My wife's left paddle shifter broke and I found a 2 spoke wheel with both paddle shifters and wanted to swap them onto the 3 spoke wheel. Thanks in advance!

I don't think so cause it is almost a completely different steering wheel.

 

Where are you located and what years are the cars?

If the cars are 2006 or older, the paddles will not swap. However, the 2007+ R56 uses the same paddle shifters for both 2-spoke and 3-spoke steering wheels (I think only a very small number of 2-spoke were ever imported into the US).

 

I'm in Atlanta. The car is a 2005 with a 3 spoke wheel. The wheel I found with the shifters is a 2 spoke from a 2007. So the shifters aren't compatible? I couldn't even find a 2 spoke wheel on realoem.com with paddle shifters to compare part #'s.

I'm not about to pay $300 for 1 paddle shifter - that's ridiculous...

No, the steering wheels aren't compatible and the paddle shifters are different.
