Hi!

So, I'll recieve the Magnaflow cat-back for my R50 tomorrow. What can I expect from this system in terms of performance and sound? How is it as opposed to the original exhaust? What are the differences in weight and such?

Also, after I've fitted the Magnaflow, should I spend money on an air filter from K&N like this http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2239 ?

WIthout a question. In fact, I would look into the aFe intake for your car. A well-made unit with great throttle response and sound. Those two mods on your R50 will really open it up!

 

Well, installing it took like four or five hours. Probably because I live in Norway, and all the bolts were rusted and each took forever to unbolt. They also salt the roads in Norway, and I guess that's not a plus for the galvanized bolts.

Anyway, I'm very satisfied with the Magnaflow cat-back. Sound great, especially windows-down in a tunnel! My mother hates it though, because she borrows my car to the shop sometimes, haha.
