more of a how to question

I have a 2005 mini cooper non s, and was wondering if it is possible to take my none s and make it a s. if it can be done what would have to be done. if not then what parts will go good on my car.

It would be possible, but financially it is a horrible idea. For the cost you could buy an S and be ready to go.

If you want to mod just a cooper start with an intake and rear swaybar.

You'll get more sound out of the intake, it will be a great throaty sound.

Making the Cooper into an S isnt a hard task. I have everything I need minus the motor..After its all said and done it will only cost me 4k....so 1K over the OEM cost.....not too bad....

Probably only cost effective IF you can do most of the work free of labor charges..
Do you have to have the "S" ECU to go along with the install???
