Ques. Re: black head light covers & Xenons

Does anyone know (possibly wc50 owners) if the black headlight covers diminish the lighting capacity of the xenons or are they just as effective?

Any thing that covers the headlights and is not clear will diminish the light output to the street of any head light. So if what you are asking is do black covers diminish the light output of the Xenons the answer is Yes.

I had the headlight covers on...for about a month. It was not worth it if you have to drive at night at all. I have the Xenons, and yes even though they will tell you that it doesnt affect your lights at all, believe me, it does. Looks cool and thats about it.

If you are talking about the wc50's headlights, there will be no noticeable difference. They aren't covered by anything, the inside silver plastic is basically just painted black. I took mine apart to paint them black and didn't notice any difference at all.

If you were talking about some sort of aftermarket tints, then yes, there will be a difference.

No I thought that the plastic headlight lens or cover was tinted and not clear on the wc50 as well as the Camden?? If so, i thought it might decrease the effectiveness of the xenons. But if the lens cover is still clear then i guess they are just the same as before.
