I was visiting my cousin tonight when a bad storm with with marble size hail rolled through. Before it started hailing we decided to do some rearranging in the garage to see if my MINI could fit in the garage and stay dent free. My MCS just barely fit!!! The pic is proof that my cuz can now advertise he has a 4 car garage instead of a 3 car!!! (there is another car to the left of the Mercedes)
We had golf ball sized hail in Alberta last week. A lot of claims coming through. I parked under a bridge and then rushed home, it sounded bad but no dents for me thank goodness.
You could have fit what looks like at least 2 more cars. There is a lot of wasted space but, good thing you got your MINI out of the Hail. That would have been chaos with that sunroof.
I wish I was as lucky as you last year. 80+ hail dents on all panels on my car March 2009. Mostly PDR'd but the roof and hatch had to be patched and painted. :(
i have horrible horrible horrible dents... marble sized hail from a month ago...
at body shop getting a new hood. the roof... sadly had to be PDR'ed. Wasn't worth replacing apparently.
I'm surprised the hood wasn't PDR'd either. I would rather have PDR than patch/paint. Factory paint is much stronger than any body shop. Body shops can't heat it to the same level a factory does with all your plastic pieces inside your car. The paint I had from a body shop on my last car was horrible!
