painting questions

New to the forum and have been reading a lot on all the customizations everyones been doing. Got my hands dirty last weekend and Plastidipped my Grille. Painting my wheels next and possibly painting the A-panels as well. Question is has anyone painted the A-panels? hard task? any suggestions? I will probably use actual paint VS Plasti but open to suggestions. I have an 05 Yellow Cooper S.

Instead of painting your a panels, go for a vinyl wrap. If you are into carbon fiber, 3m Dinoc carbon fiber vinyl looks great on A-panels and A-pillars.

With vinyl you won have to worry about removing the panels or taping off the car.

Also your gas filler cap is only held on by 1 nut, take that off and plasti dip it.
