I can't figure it out or which one to get

Get the dice one. I have the oem one, and it's a piece of junk. Plus the dice has more controls over your ipod, and half the price

I had the OEM one. It was a piece of junk... and then it died.

So yeah, avoid it. Lots of limitations to it like making special playlists calls MINI1 - MINI 5... and there's no way to get the text like artist/title to appear anywhere on the screen, so don't expect that either. Terrible. I replaced it with an AUX cable from outmotoring for $40. I lose the next/prev track buttons on my steering wheel... but hey, the price is right and I play my iPod and my GF's sansa.
