Question about new R53 system install...

OK, so my new equipment will be here today, I have the following coming in...

-Alpine cde-103bt
-MB quart ONX216 6 1/2" components (50w RMS)
-Probably going to pick up the alpine MRP-F300 (4x50 RMS) after work today

I had a factory HK system in the car, I removed and sold the front components and the HK amp. I was planning on using the new head unit to power the factory rears for fill and use 2 channels of the amp for the fronts and bridge the other 2 for the sub I'll be installing in a couple weeks, the amp is bridgeable for that purpose.

My question is for the wiring to power the rear speakers for fill off the head unit. The head unit only has 2 pair of RCA out's on it, one for the fronts and one for the rears (or a sub), and I know how I'll be wiring up that stuff with the amp, etc.
BUT, since I am no longer running a factory amp will I still use the wiring harness for all my power and turn on features? If I do then do I just pull the rear speaker leads from the new wiring harness and run those lines straight from the head unit to the rears with a quality wire?

And since the battery is in the rear along with the future sub I was planning on keeping the amp back there, running the pair of RCA's to the back and then running the speaker lines back up to the front speakers, should I use a special speaker wire for this or would any of the "off the shelf" offerings from my local audio shop be good?
Should I hide the crossover for the fronts under the dash, keeping them close to the speakers, or just mount them in the rear with the amp?

Thanks in advance for input!

OK, based on input from someone thats done a Mini Cooper system I am running all the speaker wires and RCA's on the passenger side as the driver's side is where the main power line runs.

Putting together the wiring harness now for the factory harness to the Alpine...

So far I have only connected the red (ignition) yellow (battery) black (ground) and the orange (illumination). I still have the pink bluetooth lead from the Alpine, the blue power ant lead, and the blue/white remote turn on lead.

I assume I want to run the blue/white remote turn on lead to the amp with the RCA's?

What should I do with the blue power ant lead and pint bluetooth lead?

The wiring harness I got for the car has only a blue/white lead and 3 brown leads left on it. Should I even bother hooking the speaker lines up on the harness or just tape them off?

The only speaker leads I'm going to need is the 2 pair for the rears, I'm going to run lines back to splice into the factory lines going to those, run them off the head unit power.

Does this sound like I'm on the right track?
