Wire clutter

I have a problem which I'm hoping many of you share. I hate clutter. In this case its wire clutter. I use a radar detector, and GPS in my new Clubman but theres only one accessory plug in the front dash. This means I have to insert a splitter to run both my GPS and radar detector. I really don't like doing that because it impedes on my morning coffee cup holder, the wires run everywhere and plus it just looks junky. Do you all run multiple items in the front of your car or is it just me? If so, how do you deal with all the clutter?

I hardwired my GPS to help get rid of the wire clutter. Would like to do the same for my iPhone at some point. If I had an XM or radar detector, I'd probably be hardwiring them as well. Gotta agree with you about the junkiness of a clutter of wires.

+1, hardwiring is the way to go. My GPS and radar detector are both hardwired.

I used a power and ground from one of the map lights for the detector.

GPS? I don't need no GPS....Ok, sometimes I do, and I just plug it in...

I'm still looking into retrofiting factory nav...
