Thanks Chuck.

There's something real screwy going on with my work computer. I think they're bugging it; finding out that I spend most of my work day playing games and looking at this crazy northamericanmotoring.com site, whatever that is...

I can't even get to NAM or MA from work they have it so locked down. Facebook is open though - go figure.
Anyway, got a route to Zoka's mapped out?
This should be very nice.

I didn't have anything planned yet, I think I'll work something out over the weekend. Unless anyone else has some suggestions, I've never been down in that area.

All I see is an "A" then a nice long squiggly line and then a "B". I like it.

Naw - CO67 has about a two-mile stretch that is dirt. Now Daniels Park is dirt so we could go to Santa Fe to Sedalia. Now that I'm not showing the MINI I'm less concerned with dirt roads but CO67 was on the Yalla Yalla route about 3 years ago and it wasn't too bad.

Well, when I got to the the first dirt road, I went back to the one that went east, it appeared to be dirt.

Guess I should have braved it. The MINI washes.

Or I can meet you at Zoka's......

bump & a question!

Is the route set in dirt?

Anyone coming from up north direct to meet at Zokas.

What time will the South group be getting to Zokas based upon the suggested route?

Need breakfast and some pictures of the Hummingbirds.

Don

Change of Plans

To avoid the dirt we'll all just meet at the restaurant at 11:00. If there's anyone that's the mood for a ride we'll do one afterwards if there's enough interest.

Coming from the south (Deer Creek)

I'm coming from the south (way south). At 9:45 AM, I will be at C-470 & Kipling (exit, south 100 yds to stop sign, turn right (W Ute Ave). I will leave at 10:00 am, heading up Deer Creek CANYON Rd, then turning left on Deer Creek Rd toward the "High Grade" which eventually ends at US 285 in Conifer. Then 285 to Pine Junction then south to Pine.

This route is 100% paved and bypasses much of US 285. Watch for bicycles and Colo Hwy Patrol in Deer Creek Canyon. It will take less than 1 hour to get to Zoka's.

Here is the map (zoom in to see start location "A").

I will be leaving Louisville about 9:30AM, I will have to see if our routes up overlap.

After the meeting, I am thinking I will go home via the Western Dragon.

Anyone is welcome to join me, I will then head down 6 to Golden then 93 to Boulder/Louisville.

If anyone leaving the meeting that wants to head South to Deckers then take Hwy67 on to Woodland Park, we have a make up event at Hermann's Castle at 2:45P today. One member that broke down in their Classic in route last week will be taking his fam (daughters 7 & 9) to Burg Mary today! Driving a Mini or mini is a must for free admission.

Looks like it was a fun time. This is the kind of stuff I am looking forward to doing on the weekends when I get home, and actually join the club. I normaly would go into the mountians by myself when I was home, so I know some pretty good routes.
