MINI_aero_grill_install.pdf

You basically trim off sections of the new lower grill back areas to conform to stock bumper.....A dremil tool would work great for this. I would also run a few layers of masking tape across the face of this grill during modification / trimming to prevent scratching it up

thanks! ive printed all the DIYs I could find and i have already installed the upper grill. Now tonight I will attempt to do the lower grill. Its weird though that the lower one I have doesnt look like the ones in the pictures, it looks like it has already been cut down to the right size (thickness is about 1/8th all the way around and has tabs to go through the bumper), but i guess we will find out.

Mikenacarato: If you have found a source for pre-cut aero grills, please share that info with the rest of us!

I got a set of grills off of ebay and had to do no cutting at all. Ill post the vender asap. I still had to do the painting and such but no cutting to the bumper or grill was needed.
