MINI's valvetronic changes has been said to increase fuel efficiency but look at the figures. One of them is identical. HELP ME CONVERT!
It looks like both cars have IDENTICAL combined ratings. That is nuts!

Fuel economy and fuel consumption are reciprocal quantities. To convert between L/100 km and miles per US gallon, divide 235 by the number in question. For miles per imperial gallon, divide 282 by the number in question. For example, to convert from 30 mpg (US) to L/100 km, divide 235 by 30, giving 7.83 L/100 km; or from 10 L/100 km to mpg (US), divide 235 by 10, giving 23.5 mpg. To convert between L/100 km and km/L, divide 100 by the number in question.

For the MCS, it would be:

for 6speed
Urban - ~32mpg
Extra Urban ~47mpg
Combined ~40.6mpg
For 'justa'

Extra Urban ~46mpg

for 6speed
Urban - ~34mpg
Extra Urban ~51mpg
Combined ~43.6mpg

Thanks Nykwan! I doubt it would directly translate over for us. The jump is just too huge. I mean come on, 47mpg! There is almost no difference fuel consumption wise between the Cooper a/t and Cooper S a/t.
The combined EPA ratings for "S" and Cooper automatics are 27 and 28. The EU test cycle and European gas are both different. The Cooper suffers from the auto in both acceleration and mileage. The "S" is far less affected.
My 1992 BMW 525i got 32 mpg on the highway until California decided to reformulate it's gas for lower emissions. Then I got 27 within the state and 32 outside.
Why do the files say Jan. 2010 near the top if those specs are for 2011 models?

Well if you think about the current non valvetronic Cooper S gets ruffly 32 to 34mpg combined. So adding this makes that much more effiecent and makes a little bit more powerful. My hopes is that is going to be able to be swapped into the older r56s. Also MINI announced that the JCW cars will not be getting valvetronic.
