I was curious as to whether the SG2 can display peak readings? I was going to pick one up to monitor boost and water temp but would really like that feature.

Another question for SG owners.. Is the slow refresh rate annoying when trying to monitor boost readings or is it acceptable?

 

I guess it depends on what you are trying to do. Once I found out that my boost peaks at 23psi I stopped using that setting mostly. If I wanted to do monitor something I would do some logging with a laptop.

 

Is this pretty much the refresh rate on a Mini?

I had the Scangauge II in my car for quite some time. I followed the directions to add boost as an xgaguge. But I never liked it and the refresh is not that great. There is no comparison to a true boost gauge. And I found that out now that I have the VEI Systems high resolution boost gauge.
